Godet
Since 1984, independent family-owned Cognac Godet has been managed by Jean-Jacques Godet, the President and the direct descendant of Bonaventure Godet, who originally founded the business in 1550.
Jean-Jacques Godet has developed new blends presented in original and avant-garde bottles and, since 2004, his three sons have been representing the company all over the world: Jean Edouard runs the New York operation, while Maxime is based in Shanghai, and Cyril in London.
Among the company’s many awards are: International Wine and Spirit Gold Medal, XO category, London 2000, for Excellence; International Wine and Spirit Silver Medal, London 1995 (chosen by HM Queen Elizabeth for the Jubilee) for Excellence; Monde Sélection Gold Medal, Brussels 2002, for XO; and International Wine and Spirit Bronze Medal, London 2000, for Gastronome.
